Northern New England ITE was formed in 2023 be combining the Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine state ITE Chapters following the reorganization of the New England ITE Section into three sections. NNEITE brings together a network of over 150 transportation engineers and planners who are dedicated to improving local infrastructure to provide safe and efficient movement of goods and people.

NNEITE is a Section of the ITE International, an international membership association of transportation professionals who work to improve mobility and safety for all transportation system users and help build smart and livable communities.
